Dear all,
i´m now installed SkyDemon on my IMac.
In the Setup Menu i wanted to edit my Aircraft (Vans RV-8).
Everytime when i changed the Aircraft Properties and when i want to storage the values i pressed the quit button. But this stops completely the Programm and i have to restart the Computer to start SkyDemon.

Do you have an idea?

Steve, I received a report from a Mac-version user who is seeing an "unhandled error" message when he tries to view a flight-log in Google Earth.

Have you encountered this before? Any ideas on a workaround?

I'll look at that too. I probably need to register a HTML handler in the same way I did for PDF files.

Ok, I'm not sure why this is happening, but it does actually work, but still pops the error message. I guess it's because the 'Windows' bit can't see that the URL opened correctly on the Mac.  So right-click the chart, do 'view on map' and click OK to the box that pops up.

If you look in your default web browser on the Mac, you should see that Google Maps is open with the correct view.

Hi

In case anyone else has the problem with creating new aircraft, please grab a blank .aircraft file from the link below and drop it in your Documents/SkyDemon/Aircraft folder.

Re-open SkyDemon, then instead of pressing New Aircraft, select the 'Default' one that you've just dropped there.

Wolfgang has confirmed that this worked for him.

Regards,

Steve

I am using the Mac version and really it works fine, no problems at all now. Even the link with GoogleMaps works well but a message appears as if it should not work ... strange but really not a problem.
Congratulations for your work Steve, I am almost not using at all Parallels.

Sorry, but after my optimistic post ... I had problems when looking with GoogleMaps, the map was empty and afterwords it crashed ...
